My approach to manual therapy is based on osteopathy, which is a holistic, hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of medical conditions. Unlike conventional medicine, this therapy emphasizes the relationship between the body’s structure and its function, recognizing that the body is a single, interconnected system. Through gentle manipulation of the musculoskeletal system, my manual therapy aims to restore balance, alleviate pain, and promote the body’s natural healing processes.

A key principle of osteopathy manual therapy is that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. However, injuries, stress, or imbalances in the body’s structure can hinder this natural process. By addressing these issues, an osteopath helps the body to function more effectively, improving overall health and well-being.

During a session, I will use my hands to assess your body’s condition. This may involve gentle stretching, mobilization of joints, or soft tissue techniques designed to relieve tension and improve mobility. Unlike more invasive treatments, osteopathy manual therapy is non-invasive, making it suitable for individuals of all ages, including children and the elderly.
